My background involves digital innovation in the Global South with a focus on how mobile phones can reconfigure healthcare practices in very low-resource settings in Africa. Recently, I have become more interested in advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and the ethical implications associated with the development and use of such technologies. My growing interest in ethics is one of the reasons I consider the INTEGRITY project to be of huge importance. Technology is changing the way we teach, learn and conduct our research. With these changed ways of working come new opportunities and challenges. I believe our work with INTEGRITY can make sense of these opportunities and challenges and put research integrity and ethics at the core of everything we do as educators and researchers.
