The goal of this event was to develop soft incentives (nudges) to promote scientific integrity in teaching, research and informal supervision contexts. The workshop took place partly face-to-face in Geneva, but also online, via Zoom. He presented us with an Introduction to the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), with a focus on students’perspective. We then listened to Prof. Ivo Vlaev, Professor, Behavioural Science Group, Warwick University, London. He presented an introdcution to nudging and its methods”. We have worked on themes such as: Reporting (motivate researchers/students to report RCR issues, e.g. misconduct observed or experienced); Fact checking & scientific credit (motivate to fact checking and to give credit to scientific rigor – independently of study results); Applied RCR (motivate students to learn how to apply theory into practice) or Promoting INTEGRITY tools (Motivate teachers and schools to use INTEGRITY teaching material).
