Responsible research through supervision, mentoring and working together

Responsible research through supervision, mentoring and working together

What is

This online course (1 EC) is a self-standing course offered fully online, with live online meetings, to small groups of PhD students (up to 25), and takes 5 weeks, with an average of 2-3 hours weekly.

It offers an interactive experience (with group work) on integrity issues that are relevant in supervision and collaboration. What do you expect of good supervision and mentoring and how do you behave in supervision and mentoring yourself regarding more junior researchers? Which integrity issues do you think are relevant to address in your research project? Did you talk about these with your supervisors yet? Why (not)? This course focuses on the relevance to research integrity on the way we collaborate: with supervisors, with colleagues and third parties. It gives you hands on tools to address these issues. A reflection model (RCR reflection model) is offered to deliberate on concrete cases.
