Integrity Thursdays with Utrecht University

November 5 is the start date for Integrity Thursdays – in Utrecht and online.

Integrity Thursdays is an initiative from the Descartes Institute, the Ethics Institute and Freudenthal institute at Utrecht University as part of the H2020 ERC initiative, in collaboration with Studium Generale and the Netherlands Research Integrity Network (NRIN). The initiative presents a programme of events aiming to stimulate a dialogue on research integrity issues.

There will be a wide variety of events from film screenings and discussions to interactive workshops and lectures.

Starting November 5, a range of both online and in-person events will be held every Thursday until early 2021. Researchers, teachers, students and academics from all disciplines are welcome to join the discussion. The events are scheduled for different times of the day to suit an international audience with different time schedules. There will be a wide variety of events from film screenings and discussions to interactive workshops and lectures. Participants will get the chance to learn techniques for spotting manipulated images, participate in a practical team challenge to stimulate awareness on issues that can arise, discuss integrity questions in the context of peer review and more.
